Spur Raises $4.5 Million In Seed Funding Led By First Round Capital
Spur, the AI startup co-founded by Sneha Sivakumar and Anushka Nijhawan, has raised $4.5 million in seed funding to revolutionize quality assurance testing. The round was led by First Round Capital, with participation from Pear VC, Neo, Conviction, Liquid2Ventures, Predictive Venture Partners, and Y Combinator. The team is also backed by a strong bench of angel investors including founders and executives from Figma, Dropbox, Zeus Living, and Rippling. Spur uses AI agents that simulate real user behavior to autonomously test product flows, replacing traditional manual and outsourced QA. Since launching out of Y Combinator’s Summer 2024 batch, Spur has seen rapid traction with high-growth, customer-centric teams like Wander, Norse Atlantic Airways, and Living Spaces. The company is positioning itself as essential infrastructure for modern software teams looking to ship faster with fewer bugs. This funding will accelerate Spur’s mission to modernize QA workflows, reduce engineering bottlenecks, and scale intelligent testing systems for the next generation of product-driven companies.
