Pro Padel League Raises $10M Seed Round From Left Lane Capital Kactus Capital And Others
Pro Padel League (PPL), a North America-based padel league preparing for its second full season in 2025, raised a $10M seed round led by Left Lane Capital, with participation from Kactus Capital, Gary Vaynerchuk, Epic Padel, and the family office of H.I.G. Capital founder Tony Tamer. Led by CEO Mike Dorfman, PPL plans to use the funds to expand its event calendar, increase player incentives, and fill key executive roles. PPL aims to capitalize on the growing popularity of padel in the U.S., with plans for five events in 2025 and a projected break-even by 2026.

Palo Alto Networks Acquires AI Startup Console For $500 MillionConsole, a San Francisco-based AI startup, has been acquired by Palo Alto Networks for a reported $500 million, just two years after its founding. The company had raised $29 million across two funding rounds and was valued at $157 million in its latest round. Palo Alto Networks CEO Nikesh Arora was among Console’s early investors, while Thrive Capital, led by Joshua Kushner, led both of the startup’s funding rounds. Palo Alto plans to integrate Console’s AI agent technology into its Cortex security platform.
