Peripheral Labs, a Toronto-based startup developing an AI-driven neural rendering platform for immersive sports replays, raised $3.6M in seed funding led by Khosla Ventures, with support from Daybreak Capital, Entrepreneurs First, Transpose Platform, and angel investors. Led by co-founders Kelvin Cui (CEO) and Mustafa Khan, the company plans to use the capital to expand its engineering team and scale its hardware and platform development, enabling real-time conversion of standard broadcast feeds into photorealistic 3D volumetric video for multi-angle viewing, performance analysis, and enhanced fan experiences.
