Guardio Raises $40 Million To Enhance Cybersecurity Against AI-Driven Threats

Guardio, a consumer cybersecurity company, raised $40 million in a funding round that included Wiz co-founder and CEO Assaf Rappaport, along with existing investors ION Crossover Partners, Union Tech Ventures, Vintage Investment Partners, Cerca Partners and Emerge Ventures. The round brings Guardio’s total funding to $167 million and values the company at $1.1 billion; co-founder and CEO Amos Peled said the company will use the funding to strengthen its protection against AI-driven scams and cyber threats. Guardio has grown revenue more than 100% year-over-year for four consecutive years, reaching 1 million paying customers and more than $150 million in ARR.
