Gimlet Labs Secures $80 Million Series A Funding Led By Menlo Ventures

Property Image
Gimlet Labs, a San Francisco-based startup founded by Zain Asgar, Michelle Nguyen, Omid Azizi, and Natalie Serrino, has raised $80 million in a Series A round led by Menlo Ventures, bringing its total funding to $92 million. The company, which emerged from stealth in October 2025 with eight-figure revenues, builds a "multi-silicon inference cloud" that orchestrates AI workloads across chips from NVIDIA, AMD, Intel, ARM, Cerebras, and d-Matrix, optimizing each stage of an AI task for the most suitable hardware. Gimlet claims this approach accelerates inference three to ten times while reducing idle hardware costs, and the new funding will be used to expand its team and scale its inference cloud infrastructure.
