Gilgamesh Ventures Closes Second Fund At $35 Million With Backing From Institutional Investors
Gilgamesh Ventures, a New York City-based fintech-focused venture capital firm co-founded by Miguel Armaza, a fintech podcaster and former banker, and fintech entrepreneur Andrew Endicott, has closed its second fund, bringing its total assets under management to $35 million. The new fund attracted institutional backers including Foundation Capital, GBM Ventures, and Encore Bank, as well as prominent fintech founders like Renaud Laplanche and Dan Henry. Since launching in 2021, Gilgamesh has backed 44 companies across 10+ markets, and its debut fund already delivered a 39% net IRR.
