Critical Venture Partners Raises $5 Million Fund Backed By Aarti Chandna Seth Goldman And Andrew Kaplan
Critical Venture Partners, founded by Sam Strickberger, Seungkwon Son, and Max Strickberger, has raised a $5 million deep tech fund to invest in young founders tackling global challenges like climate change and healthcare. The firm, led by recent University of Pennsylvania graduates, writes checks between $50,000 and $250,000, with 25% of the fund reserved for follow-ons. Limited partners include Aarti Chandna (Silicon Valley Social Venture Fund), Seth Goldman (Beyond Meat), and Andrew Kaplan (Bain Capital). The firm has already backed three startups: General Galactic, Mobius Industries, and Stratagen Bio.
