Construction is nearing completion at 126 East 57th Street, a prominent 28-story residential tower situated on Billionaires’ Row in Midtown East, Manhattan. Designed by ODA Architecture and developed by MRR Development through MRR 1326 LLC, this 346-foot-tall building will feature 147 condominium units averaging 1,156 square feet each. Additionally, it will offer 5,000 square feet of retail space on the lower level. Plaza Builds is overseeing the construction of this ground-up property, which is located at the intersection of East 56th Street and Lexington Avenue, with a narrow extension extending to East 57th Street.

Since the last update in mid-June, additional floors have been added to the complex reinforced concrete structure. Recent images reveal that large floor-to-ceiling windows have been installed on the building's lower half, with a subtle recess from the smooth concrete facade. The building's unique setbacks, irregular cutouts, and overhanging sections are becoming increasingly visible as the wooden formwork and scaffolding progress upward. These setbacks will eventually feature clear glass railings and lush shrubbery. It is anticipated that 126 East 57th Street will reach its full height by the end of August.
The tower will offer a range of high-end amenities, including a rooftop swimming pool, a fitness center, and a private indoor basketball court.
The development is conveniently located two blocks south of the Lexington Avenue-59th Street subway station, which is served by the 4, 5, 6, N, R, and W trains. It also has a connection to the Lexington Avenue-63rd Street station to the north, serviced by the Q and F trains.
