Industry veteran, Jim Koury, specializes in the acquisition and disposition of retail real estate throughout the Northeast. With more than three decades in commercial real estate, Jim has held senior positions heading retail sales teams at JLL, CBRE and HFF. During that time, he marketed and closed more than $4.2B in transactions totaling over 30 million square feet which included large portfolios of grocery-anchored shopping centers valued in excess of $400M, enclosed regional malls, high-street retail, grocery-anchored power centers over 700,000 square feet valued in excess of $100M, and portfolio sale-leaseback transactions. Jim is widely recognized as one of the first brokers in the country to specialize solely in the sale of shopping centers. Mr. Koury is an alumnus of Boston College, where he received a Master of Science degree in Finance. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and has served as Chair for the New England Capital Markets Group for over 10 years.
