Avery Klann is a Vice Chairman with Newmark and based in Boca Raton, Florida where he oversees the team focused on multihousing across the state of Florida. With more than 20 years of real estate experience, Avery and his team manage the disposition and capitalization of multihousing properties throughout Florida. He also arranges joint venture equity and capital for acquisition and development projects. Since joining Newmark in 2002, Mr. Klann has been actively involved in the sale and capitalization of over $20 billion in multihousing transactions. Avery is the registered broker for the Florida operation which consists of offices in Boca Raton, Orlando, Tampa and Jacksonville.
Prior to joining Newmark, Avery was a consultant with Accenture, where he assisted regional banks, investment banks and other financial services clients in developing business strategies, financial models and business plans. Avery is a member of Urban Land Institute and a board member of University of Florida’s Bergstrom Center for Real Estate Studies. He has been recognized by numerous industry publications and is a frequent speaker at industry conferences. Avery has been actively involved in fundraising for the Center for Family Services and the University of Miami’s Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center.
